

Georgina Hanbury

Georgina Hanbury is currently an internal medicine trainee at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
She completed her undergraduate medical training and intercalated BSc in Psychology at the University of Leeds. Her postgraduate training has been in London. For foundation training she worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She is currently undertaking her internal medicine training at the St Mary’s Hospital and the Royal Brompton. She completed a six-month fellowship at the Royal Marsden in 2019 and is now aiming to specialise in Oncology.
Her academic interests and research with MDRCollab include evaluating European trends in disease burden from hepatocellular carincoma and the global disparities in cancer outcomes between higher and lower income countries.
